This is us, We are Liberate IT we are responsive, client-focused, delivering practical IT solutions, here to serve SMEs like you!

Our founders, Alex & Chris, used their 10+ years of experience in IT consultancy and IT support to form Liberate IT in 2016. With the vision to do so much more for their clients, than was possible with previous employment. They created a truly client-focused IT support company, which gained huge support and trust from their current client base, growing to over 35 clients and counting.

We specialise in IT support for SMEs, particularly in the Manufacturing and Legal sectors. We are located in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, and serve customers across all areas of the East Midlands, including Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Burton on Trent, Loughborough, Birmingham, Sheffield and surrounds. Our Team

Alex is the founder of Liberate IT and the most experienced engineer on the team! A keen problem solver in work and at home, with a love for DIY and building. When he's not chasing his two young boys around, he enjoys movies, wine, gaming and exercise.

Chris is one of the Directors of Liberate IT. Prior to Liberate, he ran his own brewery for 8 years, but sold up so he could get back to his passion for technology. Chris loves helping people as IT can be a technical minefield! Outside of work, Chris enjoys property development and spending time with his family and daughter Mollie. He tries to go to the gym, but that starts on Monday.

Harley is one of our First-Line Engineers. He is one of the most enthusiastic in the office and is always up for a challenge. In his spare time, he enjoys creating music and building guitars. (He also has his music out on Spotify!)

Joy is our Marketing Lead. While in the office she enjoys problem solving and producing new creative solutions, as well as connecting with new people on the job and managing social media. When she is not in the office she enjoys photography, art and visiting country parks with her friends.

Zique is one of the Systems Engineers at Liberate IT. He started working at the company in 2017 as an Apprentice before being hired as a full-time Engineer. Problem solving and tinkering with new technology has always been a hobby for Zique. Outside of work he enjoys playing PC games, rock climbing and going to the gym.
